Hi Christie!
I just read on a Kwala project web site that you had done some work with Kwala. Do you have anything in written form that you can suggest? I'd like to learn to play this type of music on both hammer and whistle.

when I'm next in Cork, I'll see if I can remember to take a photo of the house for you. Let the new tenants think I'm stalking them... or just 'casing the joint' :)

Hi Christie, I've been catching up on emails this evening, and listening to various interesting posts on your website - I'm obviously on broadband in a friend's house, with little else to do this Sunday night. I really like this post of the Bulgarian songs... there's beauty there. I think I can feel my ears smiling :) le grá, Deirdre

Thanks for posting the video, Christie. That was a fun session that led up to some memorable tunes.
I actually learned to the tune from the fiddle player for the now defunct Atomic City Rhythm Rascals, Tim Worman. Tim was my teacher, and a multi-instrumentalist who plays the solo banjo version on the cd release. I'm happy to hear it sounds similar; Tim's an amazing player, so I take that as a great compliment. I've got banjo tablature, Fred (or anyone else); if you'd like to get in touch with me, I'd be happy to get it to you.
